Terms of Service

Njoft is an online marketplace where users can publish and discover listings (for example, items for sale, rent, or related services, depending on what is offered on the platform). You agree to use Njoft only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.

To use certain features, you must meet basic eligibility expectations:

• Users should be at least 18 years old, or use the platform only with appropriate permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
• You must provide information that is accurate and not misleading when creating an account, posting listings, or communicating with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by anyone you allow to access your account.

We may update features, categories, and policies over time. Continued use after changes are posted can mean you accept the updated terms, as described in the “Changes to Terms” section below.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity performed using your account. Use a strong password and do not share access with people you do not trust.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible. We may take steps to secure the account, but we cannot guarantee recovery in every situation.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, or that present safety or integrity risks to the platform or other users.

Users may post listings and upload content such as descriptions, photos, and pricing information, subject to our rules and any category-specific requirements shown on the platform.

You agree that your listings and content will:

• Be truthful and not misleading about what is being offered, its condition, price, availability, and location (where relevant).
• Comply with applicable laws and not promote illegal goods, services, or activities.
• Respect intellectual property and not use content you do not have the right to share.
• Avoid prohibited items or categories where restricted by law or by Njoft policies.

Njoft does not pre-approve every listing. However, we may remove, hide, edit, or limit the distribution of listings or content at our discretion—especially when we reasonably believe a listing violates these Terms, creates safety risks, or is inappropriate for the marketplace.

You retain ownership of content you create, but you grant Njoft a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the platform.

To keep Njoft safe and trustworthy, the following are not allowed:

• Fraud, scams, or attempts to deceive other users
• Fake listings, bait-and-switch tactics, or impersonation
• Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or abusive behavior
• Selling or promoting illegal products or services
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or misuse of the platform’s communication tools
• Circumventing platform safety features, scraping data without permission, or attacking the site’s security or performance
• Using the platform for money laundering or other unlawful financial activity

This list is not exhaustive. We may take action against other behaviors that harm users or the platform, even if not listed here.

Njoft provides a venue for buyers and sellers (or renters and landlords, where applicable) to connect. We are a marketplace platform—we generally do not own, inspect, or deliver the items or services listed by users.

Users are responsible for evaluating listings, negotiating terms, meeting in person or online as they choose, and completing transactions. Any agreement you make is between you and the other party, unless Njoft explicitly states otherwise for a specific product or service.

We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, that a buyer or seller will complete a deal, or that a transaction will be successful. Users should exercise judgment, follow local safety guidance, and use secure payment practices when appropriate.

Fees or paid features (such as promotions) may be offered from time to time. Where fees apply, they will be presented clearly before you confirm a purchase.

Messaging and contact tools are provided to help users communicate about listings. You agree to use them fairly and lawfully, and not to misuse them for spam, harassment, or off-platform schemes intended to evade safety measures.

We may monitor or process message metadata and content where reasonably necessary to operate the service, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and comply with legal obligations. We do not promise that all messages are reviewed.

Misuse of messaging may result in warnings, restrictions, or account suspension, depending on severity and repeated violations.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts or access to features when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, reduce fraud, or comply with law.

We are not obligated to provide detailed reasoning for every enforcement action, especially where doing so could compromise safety investigations, legal processes, or security measures. Where appropriate, we may provide a general explanation or a way to appeal through support channels.

Njoft is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the extent permitted by law, Njoft and its team are not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising between users, including issues related to listings, payments arranged off-platform, meetings, product quality, or failed deals.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow such limitations. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, legal requirements, or how we operate. When we make material changes, we will aim to provide reasonable notice when practical—for example by updating the “Last updated” date and posting the revised Terms on this page.

If you continue to use Njoft after changes take effect, that may constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the platform.
